Client Reviews

Finding the right mentor for my 17-year-old son was no small task. My son currently plays soccer in Italy, and we needed someone who could help him develop as a player while also understanding the cultural and tactical differences between the Italian and U.S. soccer systems. From our very first conversation with Coach Franco, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for.

Coach Franco immediately put us at ease with his warm and encouraging demeanor. He took his time speaking with us - we never rushed through the conversation - and made sure to fully understand my son's goals, strengths, and areas for growth. Unlike some coaches who offer a one-size-fits-all approach, Coach Franco focuses on mentorship that is truly tailored to the individual player. He helps young athletes not just improve their technical abilities, but also grow in confidence, leadership, and adaptability on and off the field.

One of the biggest deciding factors in working with Coach Franco is his Italian playing background and real-world understanding of the differences between European and American soccer. His firsthand experience with coaching philosophies, game speed, and player development in both countries gave us immediate confidence that he could provide authentic and meaningful, actionable guidance for my son’s future.

Another huge plus? He was incredibly accommodating with scheduling, making sure that our meetings fit around the time difference between Italy and the U.S., my son’s training, and his academic commitments. That level of flexibility and genuine investment in a player’s success is rare to find.

What truly sets Coach Franco apart from other mentors I spoke to is that he understands that being a student-athlete is also a family commitment. He included me in the initial conversation, ensuring that everyone was on the same page about my son’s development and mentorship goals. Too often, coaches focus solely on the athlete, but Coach Franco respects my role as the parent in my son's commitment to the game and his education. He values the time, energy, and dedication it takes to support a young player. That kind of awareness and inclusivity is something you don’t often see, and it speaks volumes about his character and approach.

What stood out most was that while Coach Franco is deeply knowledgeable, he never comes across as boastful or arrogant. Instead, he listened and empowered my son to become his best on and off the field, all in our first conversation with him!

If you're looking for a mentor who truly cares, understands both the European and American soccer systems, and provides a player-focused, personalized approach, I recommend Coach Franco without reservation. His expertise, encouragement, and commitment to both the athlete and their support system make him an invaluable mentor.

We look forward to working with him!

Franco was very helpful to my son. He provided some great feedback and gave him some drills to work on. Due to a tryout, Franco adjusted his schedule to get in a training. My son enjoyed it and wants to continue

Would highly recommend Coach Franco he has been great with our son Westin (8 years old).

He was responsive and timely. Looking forward to having him train our team.

Today, I submitted a request for the initial telephone consultation with Coach Franco, and he responded with a phone call shortly thereafter. Coach Franco first politely introduced himself and then asked me to share I wanted him to know about my son; this immediately demonstrated where Coach Franco's focus is...on the player rather than himself. This was all the more apparent given that he conducted himself with modesty and made no effort to impress me nor brag about his extensive background in professional soccer.

Coach Franco then shared some insight as to his approach with his prospective players, and most impressive of all, he openly stated that he prefers to schedule just one session initially so that he could both assess a player's performance potential and determine how well he and the player could work together; this speaks VOLUMES for his integrity. In today's competitive sports climate, it would seem relatively easy for a professional coach of Coach Franco's position and background to convince well-meaning parents to immediately spend lots of money on a large package of lessons by characterizing it as the only thing standing in the way of their child's dream of playing professional sports. You do not have to worry about Coach Franco making a sales pitch with your child, as he is clearly careful with and sensitive to your time, your budget, and his time when determining if he can help a player achieve their ambitions in soccer.

I am looking forward to my son's first session with Coach Franco, and no matter the outcome of his assessment, I believe I can trust in not only his professional judgement, but in his honesty, compassionate candor, and integrity as well.

Coach Franco is a great trainer & probably the best trainer I've had. He has great communications skills. He will design individual drills & work on the drills with his players to improve & maximize training time. He is direct & provides constructive feedback while being positive and encouraging. I'd highly recommend coach Franco. He's a difference maker !

Great first interaction and look forward to working with Franco

Our first lesson with coach Franco, and looking forward to more! He was very good at explaining things using terminology and comparisons that my 8 year old could understand. My daughter had the biggest smile and her face after the session. I can’t wait to see the improvement on the field! Thank you, coach!

Well Experienced ! Best Coach in the area, knows more of what he’s doing than anyone else, not lazy to actually help and develop players :)

My son’s first session with Coach Franco was beyond our expectations. My 11-year-old truly appreciated Coach Franco’s candid coaching methods and style. He kept the training engaging but switched things up smoothly while simultaneously offering invaluable feedback. What made this training session so unique and memorable from previous sessions (with 2 different coaches) was that Coach Franco explained the science behind certain body positions that allows players to utilize their lungs in the correct way, for example. He also shared information about the science behind proper breathing and function of the nose and mouth for maximum strength and agility output during a game. My son really enjoyed his soccer training session with Coach Franco and claims “it was the best session [he’s] ever had!” We look forward to the next session!

Coach Franco is an energetic and great coach for my daughter! He is responsive when you contact him and willing to put in the extra effort to teach my daughter the skills to make her a well rounded soccer player. She has thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

Coach Franco really took the time to connect with my daughter. He kept the session fun, fast paced, and packed full of great soccer training. Highly recommend.

My son is a Freshman and wants to try out for the high school soccer team this November. I was looking for someone to train/coach my son to prepare for tryouts. I found Coach Franco on this website, and he immediately responded to my inquiry. Coach Franco met with my son for one session to evaluate his strengths/weaknesses and to determine what my son would need to make him a strong contender for tryouts. Coach Franco provided me with feedback right after the session and suggested training once a week to start and then increase training to two times a week to prevent "burn out." I appreciated his suggestion, as he was looking out for the best interest of my son. I've booked a series of sessions with Coach Franco, and my son has found the sessions to be extremely beneficial. Coach Franco has been on time, focuses the training on the position my son plays, is energetic, strategic, serious and remains positive throughout the training session. My son is excited and eager to attend his training sessions with Coach Franco, and coincidentally, my son scored 5 goals in a game after one training session with Coach Franco. I highly recommend Coach Franco!

Coach Franco was great to work with. My daughter wasn't sure what to expect (she is only 7) but in the end she had a great time. The session was very organized and there was no down time (which I really appreciate). Good material, good tempo, and he did it in a way to keep her motivated and happy too.

Coach Franco is an excellent private Coach. He has a purpose for all the touches he teaches as they are implemented in games. He works with my daughter to improve speed, agility and change of direction with the ball. This is important, why, because speed of anticipation and adaptation are critical to develop any player. My daughter enjoys her sessions and I am a soccer coach myself. He gets an A in my book!

Great job coach Franco, thanks for the good training you are giving to my kid, since he started with you, his attitude and whole way to stay on the pitch changed. He runs from the beginning to the end shooting the ball like a PRO. Thank you for all you do, working on the basis first, then bringing him to the next level explaining and demonstrating the right way to do stuff .
Great soccer player even now that he has retired from playing, fantastic coach and motivator. Teaches stuff that my kid never did before and I personally never thought about but after seeing them, make a lot of sense.
