More About Coach Felicia

I have coached 6U, 8U and 14U girls softball for Dickinson Girls Softball and League City Softball. I am a board member and leading softball coach for the Texas Dynamite Softball Organization. I am an ASA Certified Softball Coach. My passion is softball. I have played softball from the age of 8 until 22. Currently I assist with customers at Acrofit On Deck, when they come in to practice batting.

I am a former collegiate athlete. I have earned many All-District high school honors, All-American collegiate honors. I earned a scholarship to Centenary College of Louisiana before the start of my senior year of high school. I played 18U softball from the age of 15. I am a 12U, 14U and 18U State Champion.

Each student must stretch out in order to perform effectively. We will start off by working off of the tee, to ensure our mechanics are where they need to be. There we will correct mistakes that need to be corrected. We will then move on to timing drills, to ensure you are hitting the ball out front. There we will move on to hitting live pitches. If there are mistakes, we will discuss to regain confidence in ones ability. Finally we will wrap up with a review of the session and words of encouragement.

If there are students that are willing to learn how to utilize hitting on both sides of the plate, we will incorporate that into each station we work on.

Coach Felicia was amazing!!! She listened to my concerns and was very patient with my daughter. COACH FELICA KNOWS SOFTBALL!! SShe instantly saw what my daughter needed to improve on. She taught my daughter the basics and mechanics of softball. She also made it fun for her. She kept encouraging my daughter and I really appreciate that!! She helps your child improve the level that they are on, then she continues. She gave my daughter homework to do which is great because my daughter LOVES homework. Overall I am so happy with the way that she teaches and believes in my daughter. My daughter has confidence when she plays now because she knows that she has a coach that believes in her!! Thanks coach Felicia for believing in my daughter!!

Coach Felicia was great - she listened to what my daughter was hoping to improve and specifically worked on that. She also picked up immediately on a couple of big things that were not technique related, but were still holding my daughter back from that next level - all in the first session!

Felicia knows what she is talking about. She can be perceived as very difficult, but when you see your child's progress, you will understand why she is the way she is.
Great coach! My daughter has played for Felicia and she absolutely loves her. She has a select team now, so hopefully my daughter can rejoin her when she moves up.
