Session Plan
Warming up the muscles
1. Slow jogging and stretching to warm up a player's muscles in preparation for an intense workout.
2. Quick touches on the Ball, through passing and dribbling to continue preparing the player for an intense work out.

Coordination and Ball Skill Work
1. Intense Cordinated Running through Cones and various obstacles.
2. Upon completion of each run through obstacles, one touch passing with left foot and right foot and using the head and chest.

1 v1 Dribbling and Shooting
1. Coach demonstrates to the Player the basics of dribbling at a defender and getting pass him/her to create space to shoot at goal or make a pass.
2. Player is matched up against a defender and is encouraged to dribble pass a defend or obstacle and shoot at goal.
3. Player is challenged to use trickery and deceptive ball skills to create space and opening to be able to shoot at goal or make an attacking pass.

1 v1 Defending
1. Coach demonstrates to Player the basics of defending, through proper body positioning.
2. Player is challenged to defend against an attacker by using specific body positioning skills and reading the attackers body language to gain possession of the ball.

Speed Drills
1. The player will be challenged through a series of speed drills, jumping over obstacles then sprint. Body checking opposing defenders then sprint etc.

3 v 3 Small sided Games
1. Players will get the opportunity to play against other players in small sided 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 games to work on passing, dribbling and shooting skills.

Warm Down and Stretching
1. The Players will do 15 yard slow jogging to warm down the muscles and recuperate.
2. Players will do various stretches to prevent muscle tightness and risk longterm Injuries.

As a parent who was carefully seeking out a coach for my 16 year old son who is returning to the field after a serious injury, I was very impressed with Coach Ezra’s keen attention to gathering information on my son to create the best possible training plan for him. He shared good tips on diet and nutrition during the session, and he also provided some insight on overall game strategy and setting personal goals. He quickly identified my son’s strengths and areas for improvement, and guided him through some fundamentals to help him build on strengths and improve in weaker areas, which included ball handling and control. My son feels confident that Coach Ezra will really help him become a better player than he was even before his injury, and is looking forward to working with him.
