More About Coach Esteban
I am an experienced soccer trainer and coach, having worked with various clubs in New Jersey, including Clifton Broncos, PASCO S.C., Hasbrouck Heights S.C., Midland Park Ajax, and others. With over six years of coaching experience, I have led teams in both state and out-of-state competitions. While I have coached across all age groups, my primary focus has been on players aged U10 to U15. I hold a soccer coaching license, a nutrition certification from CONMEBOL, and coaching and Talent Identification certifications from The Football Association (FA) in England.
I played youth soccer for several prominent clubs in Colombia, including Equidad, Santa Fe, and Tigres FC. I continued my soccer career at the collegiate level with Bergen Community College (BCC) and later competed at the semi-professional level in leagues such as GSSL, EPSL, UPSL. Additionally, I gained international experience during a season in Spain, where I competed against clubs in the 2ª RFEF and 3ª RFEF leagues.
I prioritize developing players' coordination and implementing targeted drills to enhance their technical skills with efficiency and precision. My training sessions are tailored to address individual needs and weaknesses, ensuring a personalized approach to development. Through a comprehensive curriculum, I focus on building the essential abilities required for athletes to excel in the sport. Having trained under several renowned Brazilian coaches, my coaching philosophy and playing style emphasize technical mastery, creativity with the ball, and the ability to make intelligent, adaptive decisions based on in-game situations. This approach fosters a dynamic and skillful style of play.
