More About Coach Eros
I’m currently in my second year of coaching players and my ninth year training as a player myself, which strongly influences the detail, intention, and technical standards I bring to my sessions. I primarily work with athletes between ages 9–14 and focus on technical development, tactical awareness, and building confidence through repetition, decision-making, and creativity. My coaching includes individual private training, small group work, and directing my own 8-player development camp, where I planned sessions, taught technical progressions, and created a positive growth-focused environment.
I also gained experience helping coach a middle school team, working with players of different ability levels and learning how to adjust communication, teaching rhythm, and drill difficulty based on the group’s needs. My training style is influenced by a European-inspired “la pausa” approach — developing players who are composed on the ball, comfortable under pressure, and able to make intelligent, creative decisions rather than just playing fast or direct.
I currently train players weekly and have seen measurable improvement, especially in dribbling confidence, ball control, and attacking mindset. I hold a U.S. Grassroots coaching license and am committed to continuing education, self-development, and providing individualized, thoughtful instruction tailored to each athlete.
I’m a technical, intelligent midfielder who can play as a 6, 8, 10, or winger, comfortable in possession and confident creating in tight spaces. I’ve been playing for 10 years, including 4 years of varsity, at Bradshaw Christian, where I had the opportunity to be a captain and earned a tournament MVP award. I also competed at the EA level growing up and recently completed my first collegiate season with Woodland Community College.
Internationally, I’ve trained in Portugal, was extended an invitation at young age to play in a tournament with Escola de Pauleta in São Miguel, and later had the opportunity to stay and continue training with a Sporting Lisbon affiliate in Algés. I’m currently preparing to play for Fayal Sport Clube in the AF Horta division while continuing my development.
A typical session with me lasts about an hour and is structured to maximize learning and fun. We begin with a warm-up, followed by focused technical work emphasizing ball mastery, dribbling, and passing. Players are encouraged to scan the field, interpret the information, and make the best decisions while positioning themselves effectively.
I create a positive and supportive environment where mistakes are opportunities for growth, and repetition builds confidence. Drills are tailored to the player’s level — simplified for foundational skills or intensified for advanced players — and often incorporate scanning and decision-making elements.
Sessions also include small-sided games and 1v1s to apply practiced skills in realistic situations. By the end, players feel accomplished, confident, and equipped with sharper touches, better decision-making, and a stronger foundation for their next game or training session.
