More About Coach Ermin
Twenty-seven years in soccer has given me a lot of experience and allowed me to reach a high level of the game, both as a player, and as a coach. I’ve worked with many professionally very experienced and educated coaches and I’ve developed carefully honed working methods in twelve years as a club coach, private coach, and sports management professional. Through my career I have had the chance to work with extraordinary players and coaches and learned invaluable techniques and approaches from them. I have been coaching all age groups from 5 years old and up to professional level. My main objective is to share knowledge that I acquired throughout my career, experience and education with younger generations and help them to accomplish what even they think is impossible.
In professional soccer, I played in Europe and the Middle East for 15 years. I played for national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and we participated in numerous Euro qualification matches. Clubs where I spent majority of my professional career were in Bosnia, Czech Republic, Finland, Turkey, Lebanon and US (focused mostly on semi-pro level due to injuries). While playing in Finland (highly competitive and at that time 30 ranked league in the world) I played qualification matches for champions league.
In addition to my pro career, my background in Sports Management ( Bachelor degree) and nutrition enables me to think about the player as a whole and to support athletes as they develop both in body and mind.
My sessions are based on all technical elements of the game where cognitive work plays an important role in order to improve spacial awareness of the player, movement of the ball, recognizing the space etc.
Example of my 1 hour training would look like this:
1. Ball mastery ( in this warm up phase there's always a big emphasis on coordination with the ball, confidence, agility..)
2. Core Dribbling skill ( change of direction, beat/escape skills, fakes, complex skills, right approach etc)
3. Implementation ( How, Why, When and Where to use it)
4. Decision making ( Should I pass or dribble and Why?)
Generally, this is the core. Program can slightly be different in the initial complexity and that would depend on the age group and players current skillset. Tactical elements of the game are part of every practice as well.

Client Reviews
Phalon (CoachUp client)
My son just started working with Coach Ermin, he loves the sessions and the tips and training drills. Coach is really easy to get along with and the sessions are nicely paced and productive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch coach.
Kevin (CoachUp client)
Great first session. Quickly identified areas that needed improvement, gave good feedback and had him working the whole time!
Traci Simmons (Testimonial)
When I asked my 17 year-old son if there was anything he'd like to say about Coach Ermin, with no hesitation, he said, "Best trainer ever. Only two months and my left foot has gotten tremendously better. Talk about how he's the G.O.A.T. of trainers, and he's funny and all that." As a parent, I was looking for a no-nonsense trainer to improve my son's overall game and skill set. We wanted someone who wouldn't just take our money and do the basics, but rather pay attention to his specific needs and care about his development. If that's what you're looking for, he's your man!
Rachel Cohen (Testimonial)
Ermin is far and away the best one-on-one youth soccer coach we’ve encountered in Chicago. He’s been working with our son for two years; every session is structured with great drills and leads to real improvements in our son’s game, his technique, and his overall understanding. We feel very lucky!
