More About Coach Erik
I have been coaching at the elementary, middle school, and high school level for 10 years. I am heads up concussion certified. I am certified in first aid, cpr, child and infant cpr, and basic life saver through the American Red Cross. I typically work with elementary aged children as that is the age my children are currently, however I was a high school varsity coach for several years.
I graduated from Linfield as a three sport letterman and was offered to play basketball and football at Abilene Christian University. I chose a military career instead and competed in intramural and semi-pro while serving in the US Army.
A typical session will include a warmup period followed by a technical assessment and adjustment period, drill work, and a cool down wrap up session. I will also provide at home drills for the athlete to work on. Really the work depends on what the athlete requires and parents will have a big role in the process.
