Coach “Kiké” Fuentes is an internationally experienced, UEFA-licensed soccer coach, talent scout, and player-development specialist with more than a decade of experience across professional, elite club, high school, collegiate, and international soccer environments. His coaching career includes building and leading Central Georgia Technical College’s first Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs, coaching the Georgia Military College Women’s Soccer Program, and serving in high school programs at Lakeside High School, Houston County High School, and Warner Robins High School. At the club level, he has coached Legion FC, Inter Atlanta FC, and Atlético Georgia Academy, while also developing more than 500 athletes through private coaching. His international coaching experience includes FC Barcelona Camps and the FCB Escola International Tournament in Barcelona, Real Madrid Foundation, Juventus Soccer Camps, and Flamengo Soccer Camps. A former professional player who began his career with Club Necaxa in Mexico at age 15, Coach Kiké now brings his player-development and talent-identification expertise to professional scouting with FC Köln’s Bundesliga International Talent Program, evaluating emerging players and creating pathways toward international opportunities.
Coach “Kiké” Fuentes Duarte brings a unique perspective to player development as a former professional player, UEFA Licensee, international coach, collegiate program builder, and professional talent scout. He began his professional playing career with Club Necaxa in Mexico at age 15, providing firsthand experience of the demands, expectations, discipline, and competitive standards of the professional game.
Throughout his coaching career, Fuentes Duarte has worked across every major stage of player development—from youth and private training to elite club, high school, collegiate, and international environments. He founded and launched the first Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs at Central Georgia Technical College, coached the Georgia Military College Women’s Soccer Program, and has led players at Legion FC, Inter Atlanta FC, Atlético Georgia Academy, Lakeside High School, Houston County High School, and Warner Robins High School. Through CoachUp, he has also personally developed more than 500 athletes.
His international coaching background includes FC Barcelona Camps, the FCB Escola International Tournament in Barcelona, Real Madrid Foundation, Juventus Soccer Camps, and Flamengo Soccer Camps. He currently applies his coaching and evaluation experience as a Professional Soccer Scout with FC Köln’s Bundesliga International Talent Program, identifying and evaluating emerging players and assessing their potential within international player pathways.

MY TRAINING METHODOLOGY
My training sessions are designed to develop the complete soccer player by combining physical preparation, coordination, movement quality, technical execution, tactical awareness, and game-specific application into one highly efficient 45-minute session. I intentionally structure each session to mirror approximately one half of a professional soccer match, creating an environment where players must prepare, think, execute, adapt, and perform with increasing intensity while maintaining quality.
Before I ever create a training plan, I evaluate the player first. Every athlete is different, and effective development begins with understanding the individual. I assess the player's technical ability, physical qualities, coordination, movement patterns, tactical understanding, mentality, strengths, weaknesses, and developmental potential. From that evaluation, I determine the areas that will have the greatest impact on the player's development and help identify which position is the best fit for the individual.
Once we establish the player's optimal position, I focus on bringing all of the player's attributes together within that position. The objective is not simply to make a player better at individual skills, but to teach the player how those skills, physical qualities, decision-making, and mentality translate into the specific demands of the position and the game.
Each 45-minute session incorporates multiple interconnected phases of development, including the principles and physics of stretching and movement preparation, coordination drills, dynamic movement drills, exercise-form and body-mechanics drills, technical work, position-specific exercises, and game-form activities. Rather than treating these elements as separate workouts, I connect them so that the player progresses naturally from preparation and movement quality into technical execution and ultimately into realistic game situations.
My methodology is built around three fundamental pillars:
MIND — SPIRIT — TECHNIQUE
MIND: Developing soccer intelligence, awareness, decision-making, anticipation, concentration, problem-solving, and the ability to understand why, when, and where to make a decision.
SPIRIT: Developing confidence, discipline, competitiveness, resilience, work ethic, accountability, leadership, coachability, and the emotional strength required to continue performing when the game becomes difficult.
TECHNIQUE: Developing the technical foundation required to perform consistently under pressure, including first touch, passing, receiving, dribbling, ball control, finishing, striking, movement, coordination, and position-specific execution.
The final component is game form. Players must be able to transfer what they learn in training into the unpredictable environment of competition. I therefore design activities that require players to make decisions, react to opponents, recognize space, execute techniques under pressure, and solve problems in situations that replicate the demands of an actual match.
Most importantly, my sessions are fun. I believe players learn best when they are challenged, engaged, motivated, and enjoying the process. A high-performance environment does not have to eliminate creativity or enjoyment. My goal is to create training sessions where players work hard, think differently, compete, improve, and leave the field wanting to come back for more.
My philosophy is simple: evaluate the player, identify the right position, develop the complete athlete, and connect every exercise to the game. In 45 minutes, every movement, drill, decision, and challenge has a purpose—developing the Mind, Spirit, and Technique required to help each player reach their potential.

Coach KIKI was amazing with my son. He came out and went right to work. He had such high energy and was right there with him during our training sessions. My son is very shy but right after the session he whispered in my ear I want to have him come coach me more. His soccer knowledge is very high and his drills are next level. We play club ball and get very good training but this was one on one and I saw my son improve. When My son made a mistake he was so encouraging and helped him to see how to fix the mistake. He was great with him one on one and I was very very pleased as a parent to see how good he was with my son. My son is 9 and I was very impressed with coach!!!!

We are extremely pleased with the quality of training, and my son's skills have advanced significantly since working with Enrique. We are continuing toward our goal of playing at the college level, and Enrique is playing an important role as a partner in the process. I can share an example of his dedication to his players. I recently made a mistake and brought my son to a training session a day earlier than planned. Fortunately, Enrique was still on site having just finished two prior training sessions. Knowing that we had just driven 70 miles to attend training, Enrique kindly changed his plans and stayed to conduct the session for my son. What a great example of service and support! I highly recommend Coach Enrique as a soccer trainer. Enrique is currently training my 14 and 11 year old sons who play competitive soccer in Georgia. My 14 year old first started working with Coach Enrique in the Fall of 2017 when he was having trouble competing in school soccer. My son was having trouble with three things: 1) losing the ball, 2) making poor passes, and 3) making bad decisions on the field. It was amazing to see that after only 3 sessions with Coach Enrique my son went from second team to begin a starter on his school team. Immediately after working with this coach, I saw a drastic improvement in my son's soccer skills, game play and decision making on the field. It was like I was watching a different player, which was a welcome change. It is hard to find a good soccer trainer who has a good soccer back ground and really cares about helping a player improve their game. I really like his style of coaching, he finds out what problems the player is having then trains the player to help them play better soccer.
