More About Coach Edwin
Growing up on Long Island, I have over 16 years of lacrosse playing experienced. I played at Dean College D3 lacrosse for two years, and at Wheelock college D3 for 2 years, captaining for both years. I then went on to work as an assistant coach for collegiate level lacrosse for one year. I have been working as an athletics coach at a gym in Brooklyn coaching both children and adults since 2019. I also have a degree in early childhood education and extensive teaching experience.
4 years collegiate lacrosse playing, at D3 schools. Captained my last two years, assistant-coached a year after finishing as a player. I received the MVP award for my team at Wheelock College, and received the "Unsung Hero" award my first two years at Dean college. Associates degree in athletic training and sports medicine as well.
Sessions will begin with dynamic warm ups and stretching, employing my knowledge and training in athletic training and sports medicine. Next we will dive into work on line drills and stick drills. We will work on offensive positioning, and defensive breakdown. We will break down into work on shooting, shooting on the run, and feeding/assisting. Discussion and learning of the fundamentals of lacrosse will be done depending on the level of athlete. Time will also be set aside to highlight which areas the player wants to focus on and gain more practice with.
10 min- stretch/ warm up
10 min- stick skills warm up
20 min- it could be shooting drills /offensive drills/ ground ball drills /footwork/ clearing as a mid field/defense/ transitions
20 min- lacrosse game/ scrimmage

Client Reviews
Tabitha White (Past client) (Testimonial)
Eddie is a fantastic coach, you can tell how passionate he is about the sport and how much he loves sharing that passion with youth and teaching them skills to be successful at the game of Lacrosse. He demonstrated patience, determination, and real investment in having my child succeed and enjoy the training sessions. With all his playing and coaching experience I would highly recommend Eddie for any player just starting out and needing to learn the basics in a safe and supportive setting, or an experienced player hoping to fine tune their skills. Thanks Eddie!
