More About Coach Edgar
I am currently one of the trainers at the ICANBBALL Academy in Santa Clara. In this role, I conduct both one-on-one and group training sessions for players of all ages elementary to adult. Additionally, I coach for Team Elevation AAU, which involves working directly with athletes to enhance their basketball skills and performance.
During the 2023-2024 season, I served as a scout player for the Long Beach State Women's Basketball team. I've also competed in local basketball leagues and intramurals while in college.
A typical session with me as a basketball trainer is designed to be dynamic and focused on the specific needs and goals of the athlete. I will begin with a ball handling warmup followed by a skills portion designed to challenge a players ability to handle the ball. At the end, I do live action to replicate in game situations.
