More About Coach Ebrima

I have been coaching for almost 15 years now. I started coaching my Brothers U8 team when I was just 12 years of age. Coach him all the way though until they turned 17. 4 players from that team made it to The Gambia U17 National Team. I also coached for a academy team in The Gambia when I was actively playing.

I'm in the USA now where I coach for the Seattle United. Have 4 year of Premier and Select coaching experience. Coached High school for a year. Been doing one-on-one private training for about 6 years. Have about 30 kids I work with.

I was born in a coastal town in the Gambia called Brufut. I started playing soccer as young as I can remember. At age 10 I started coaching my own team that I played for, the players were mainly from my side of the village, and the second year it started attracting players from other area of the town. The name of the team was Wonjo Stars FC. My love and passion for both coaching and playing date back to when I first started playing, as a young boy. I have been playing and coaching ever since.

I have represented my country in the Youth 16-23 and the senior National Team. I have trained with over 10 international professional teams across Europe and USA: Norwich City, England, Reading FC England, Brondby Denmark, FC Randas Denmark, Belgium Beerschot AC , HJK, Viking Footballklubb, Finland. I signed with FC Futura in Finland Second Division and played for 6 months. In MLS, I trained with Seattle Sounders and New England Revolution. In 2012 I signed with USL team LA Blues in California.

Having the opportunity to train and play for all these teams and under so many coaches has given me the opportunity to see soccer and coaching in many different aspects at all levels. With my experience, I am able to transform my mistakes into experience and help kids who are trying to play in college and teach them all that is needed to be a good soccer player.

One-On-One Training sessions are used to focus on the individual needs of your athlete. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or a top level soccer player my training sessions will help you improve your game. EJ will work on technical skills such as passing, shooting, dribbling, ball control as well as speed and agility training. Through a series of these trainings your athlete will improve not only their game on the field but also their self confidence.

does great position-related drills to really improve necessary skills and just overall ability as a player. his past as a player is nice because he really understands what It's like to be in-game, and he simulates it in all of his drills.
