More About Coach Dustin

My name is Dustin Johnson National Academy of Sports medicine Certified Fitness trainer (NASM). I Graduated from Livingstone college in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Sports management. I attended Livingstone college on athletic scholarships in Football and Track and Field. I also have certifications as a Boot camp instructor and a cardio specialist through NASM.

Originally I attended page high School in Greensboro NC. While playing football and track and field I attended multiple football camps in the summers. My most fond memory is winning the fastest man award at Appalachian states football camp. While playing football at Livingstone I had a few newspaper write ups for my performance.

A typical client can expect to have a full total body workout. I start off by taking my athletes through phases.
1. Stabilization- The first 2 weeks are designed to build up the athletes endurance, balance and core. The weight training portion consist of a high amount of repetitions (15-25 reps)
2. Strength- This is when we focus on building total body strength. I have a fitness testing program that gives us documentation as to weather the athlete is truly getting stronger.
3.Power- This phase is high intensity short duration.
