More About Coach Drew

I am one of the youngest, most sought-out golf instructors in New England. My vast experience as a golf professional includes: mentoring under some of the most renown golf instructors in the country; Head Golf Professional positions; Division 1 collegiate coaching, competitive playing; national PGA of America Professional Golf Management Program Faculty assignments; and much more. I am dedicated to the instruction of players of all ability levels, from true beginners to professional golfers. I provide instruction in the private and semi-private arenas, as well as multi-day group instruction.

I developed a teaching philosophy based on proven techniques and cutting-edge methodology. The philosophy starts with the sound elements of grip, posture and setup, ball position, and alignment, and emphasizes the proper swing plane while using efficient arm and wrist motion to provide maximum leverage and power. These principles must combine with dynamic body motion that complies with the laws of biomechanics and efficiency of motion. The solid, basic elements tie the swing aspects together, and along with the proper sequencing and timing of the swing, provide consistency, power, and, most importantly, the proper striking of the golf ball.

I believe instruction is developmental and must be tailored to the needs of the specific player. Each player must be coached as a unique individual and ultimately be involved in prioritizing his/her technical changes. The practice plan is designed to fit the player's specific commitments, and the skillful application of teaching aids and drills is used to enhance kinesthetic awareness and assist in expediting the neurological/muscle memory process. To complete the player's program, the latest in video and 3-dimensional biomechanical analyses are used to facilitate his/her understanding of the technical changes and ensure continued improvement long after the instruction is complete. My goal is to provide each player with an enjoyable training plan for improving his/her skill level.

Client Reviews

In three lessons, Drew spotted and corrected some fundamental flaws that have really helped my consistency and distance. He is very articulate at explaining and demonstrating the golf swing. Money well-spent for a top tier coach.

Very knowledgeable. Really improved my game after one lesson looking forward for more lessons with Drew

I have been with Drew for since the last year of playing college golf and am now playing professionally around the country
Thank you, Drew. Our first lesson really improved my game. My friends saw a drastic difference and my score was so much better.
Drew did in 2 lessons what my other teacher couldn't do in 2 years!
