I have been giving private basketball sessions in Texas and Mississippi for the past 8 years. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from my own middle school, high school, AAU, college and international coaches. I incorporate the drills I found most helpful as a former collegiate and international player.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenge of coaching middle school and high school players, because of their passion for the game and their desires of making their schools basketball team. My specialities include ball handling, playing off screens, shooting mechanics, footwork and defense. I focus on the fundamentals such as protecting the ball, making left and right hand layups, staying low, eye contact and holding the follow through on shots. I encourage athletes to stay focus on the task at hand and instill an "I can do it attitude".

I start my session with a dynamic warm up, followed by skill development, conditioning, shooting and excessive repetition. Once athletes have complete several drills I include myself in competitive play to stimulate a real game context. After each session I want my athlete to feel that these drills do work and through hard work and discipline his or her game can greatly improve.
