Coach Banks is an awesome coach! He has been working with my 14 year old son, as a coach and a trainer for about 3 years. He is sought-out and highly respected, by parents as well as kids. Coach Banks has the insight to read his players and get the most out of them. As a coach; he is fair to every player on the team, makes sure they all get their court time and does not play favorites. He pays attention to strengths and weaknesses and works with the players to improve their game. As a trainer; he is tough. He knows what to expect out of the players and gets it out of them. His training sessions are reasonably priced, always on time and organized. When my son first started playing he could barely dribble the ball and couldn't make a shot if he tried. In the past 3 years he has mastered dribbling with both hands, has an excellent 3 point shot, made his Middle School team that won their division both years and has played in A.A.U. leagues and tournaments.

My eighth grade son Jake has been working with Coach Banks for several years now. At first, the benefits were primarily related to basketball. I watched his skills improve to the point where he is able to compete and play with talented kids, many of whom already play at the High School level. More significantly, I have watched my son grow in ways far more important than just solid basketball skills. Coach Banks' constant positive reinforcement has helped Jake to be far more confident, aggressive, and self-assured. His relentless positive attention towards my son has truly been a major factor in Jake’s overall development as both a person and a basketball player. Jake has enjoyed the privilege of playing in a wide variety of basketball leagues and camps with several different coaches and trainers.
