More About Coach Desmond
I began training athletes while I was playing for Alabama A&M University.
I was a graduate assistant for a year and then began to coach high school in Alabama at Bob Jones High School ( 1 State Title) and Grissom High School (2 Sweet Sixteen appearances).I then went on to coach at Overlea High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
I currently coach at Luella High School and train boy or girl athletes from 6yrs old to collegiate athletes.
I am an educator in the classroom and also on the court as I love instructor others on the game of basketball.

Active warmup to begin, strong focus on the triple threat, ball handling, shooting, moving without the ball, and some agility exercise. I focus solely on fundamentals in confidence that at a young age, my clients will have the vital tools needed to become more in the future.
More than anything, I am an instructor who truly cares about the progress of clients and I assure you that my clients will enjoy themselves and learn how to properly play the game.
My clients can expect to be pushed out of their comfort zone during a typical session. I study the strengths and weaknesses of my client and I attack the weaknesses, ultimately turning those into strengths, and improving on the areas where my client is already proficient. I want to make that client a more well rounded player. I also focus on improving strength, footwork, basketball IQ and physical and mental toughness.

First day meeting him and Coach Jackson is very patient and unlike a lot of other coaches he has a motivating inside voice.
Used a lot of good drills conducive to her position and size.
We will continue to use him for my niece and have referred him to a friend who has an eighth-grade girl basketball player, getting, ready for high school ball.
