More About Coach Derrick
I have over 26 years of coaching athletes from amateur to collegiate. Currently a Youth Basketball of America District One member, USA Youth Basketball Gold Memeber, WIAA High School Coach.
I play football for 3 years at Anacostia High School, All League 2 years, 3rd team All American, 1st team 3 years track and field. Coach of Year 2004 Sea Tac League. Rising Coaches Community Service Recognition’21 &’22.
Focus on developing players work ethic and confidence. Concentrate on ball handling, footwork, moving without the ball, shooting drills, defense, and understanding reading the flow of the game.
