More About Coach Dennis

Fitness and competition have been an important part of my life since the first day I started playing sports when I was 5 years old. I have been involved in baseball, football, karate, kickboxing, wrestling, track & field, marathon running, endurance races and now I compete in the sport of CrossFit.

Through all of these sports, my success has come from my determination and will to work harder than my competitors. I conditioned myself to wake up early in the morning and get a jumpstart on my training. I have also been known to go for a late-night training session as well.

Through the use of CrossFit training, I enjoy working with clients of all ages, sizes, and athletic abilities. CrossFit is universally scalable, so the workouts can be tailored to anyone at any level of fitness. From the youth athlete to the weekend warrior to the stay-at-home mom and the military candidate, the workouts will be specific to your individual needs. I especially enjoy working with de-conditioned athletes or inactive clients because I feel great pleasure seeing their significant transformations in such a short period of time.

Typical Hour-long session would be a variation of the following:

10 minute warm-up
20 minutes of strength training
20 minutes of conditioning
10 minute cool-down

*During the cool-down we would talk about the session, progression, any ailments and what is working/not working. Goals and aspirations for the athlete as well as what the long-term programming would look like to train to the athlete's specific goals.

Dennis is patient and kind. I am a mother of three and have never been the "athletic" type. Dennis has met with me several times at local parks and in the gym to assist with weight loss and general nutrition.
