In high school I lettered in basketball, though I was recruited by h.s. coaches to play all sports, basketball was my sport of choice. My team had many appearances in the North Coast Section Playoffs and played against some of the better players in my era.

I was recruited by a small college in Northern California, and ended up playing guard for Bill Treglown at College of the Redwoods.

After college, as for everyone else who isn't fortunate enough to take their talents to the professional level, life took on its course and I began to work to make a living.

I remained close to basketball by frequenting the Boys Club of America and then became a coach for Hall of Fame High School Basketball Coach, Frank Allocco (De La Salle). Dr. Allocco, as some now refer to him, became my mentor as I learned most of what I know now through coaching thousands of kids at Excel in Basketball, a camp directed by Allocco for the past 27 plus years. Through Excel I have been honored and blessed to take part in many kids' basketball careers who have gone on to play Division I Basketball and the NBA.

For the past 5 years I have decided to continue building my basketball coaching reputation by coaching private lessons to those players (of all ages) who want to impress their high school or club coach by improving their skills.

I specialize in the art of shooting and am guaranteed to improve any athletes shot that wants to see improvement. I have coached and improved the shots of many who we've seen play college basketball on Saturday mornings and some who have went on to play on NBA nights.
