More About Coach Deborah

I've worked with all ages young kids to young adults in college. A few summer camps with the assistant women's coach from Villanova, located in Winslow, NJ. By the time I got to high school I started to attend more summer camps to learn how to teach the game as a guard. In College is when I started to help people my own age and others around me in the community. I currently coach at Atlantic Cape Community College in my first season going on my second. In the summer I will be extending my services with AAU coaches from South Jersey to help teenagers improve as an approachable player.

To play the game as a point guard one must see the floor on both sides so that offensively one can either penetrate and assist or defensively be ready to anticipate any chance to steal or help another teammate. I average the game about 10 steals a game. My best asset is having a defensive mindset because that's how I learned how to win a game even when down 15 to 20 points. Scored about 10 to 15 points. Average 15-20 points.

Sessions go as plan includes stretching and conditioning. Second, I give the individual a trial run of different drills to see what he/she can or cannot do. After that, I determine what the individual player needs to improve on. Throughout the session I give small teaching moments the individual athletes can take home as well. Each session concludes with a brief review and motivation for the next session!

Client Reviews

Coach Deb is amazing with my daughter. She takes her time with her. We've only had two sessions so far and we already see a difference.

Coach Deborah has been great for us.
