Coach Dean did a great job with my son. After just a few minutes into the first session my son was swinging the bat with more power and quickness. Coach Dean was very patient with his instruction and explained exactly what he wanted to see in the adjustments to he made to my sons swing. We happily booked more sessions and are excited to see the results when game play begins this summer.

Coach Dean is the best! My son came to him and was barley able to catch a ball, a few lessons later he now is catching, hitting and throwing like a natural! Dean has a tremendous amount of patience and a keen eye. He notices weaknesses and focuses on them until they are corrected. I think he was great. He gave Tyler a lot of information in a short amount of time, but did his best to keep him smiling even when he started to get frustrated. He could help a little more by understanding that Tyler hasn't learned as much as he probably should have by now because his coaches are all volunteers. He is pretty far behind on general baseball knowledge.

We set up our first lesson with Coach Dean for our 9 year old son with a focus on pitching and hitting. Since my son had no formal training I wasn't sure what to expect. About Dean~ Dean has been my pitching coach for 3 years. Before I met him, or started getting lessons from him, my dreams of being a fast pitch softball pitcher were just that, dreams. Dean would not allow me to think that way again. He would always encourage me to move forward, visualize what I was doing, do the reps correctly, and stay positive. If that didn’t help he would throw in a funny joke or statement here and there to make me feel better, relax, and not get frustrated with the task at hand. Dean didn’t give up on me, even when I was at my worst, he would let me know what I was having trouble with and, more importantly, how to fix it…sooner or later, I get it done right.
