I have been coaching boys basketball for the past 25 years. I have worked with athletes from ages 8 through 18. I recently completed my seventh season as varsity boys basketball coach at Pomperaug High School in Southbury Connecticut. In 2015, I was honored to be chosen as one of the coaches for the Connecticut High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) All-Star Basketball Festival (my team won!).

I played my high school basketball at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury Connecticut. I played with and I played against some of the best basketball players in the greater Waterbury area.

Typical sessions with me are player specific. We will decide together where to start and what to work on based on your current ability level. I will teach anyone, from a beginner to someone with an advanced skill set, how to be a better player. I specialize in improving a player's shooting skills.

Quickly identified mechanical issues with my jump shot. Provided a variety of drills that I can do with a partner or on my own. Also gave me conditioning and ball handling drills. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

Hello Dave I just thought to drop you a line to give you an update on how Johnny is doing as we come to the end of Woodlands basketball season. First of all, he did make the freshman team. About half way through the season he played on the JV team. After a few games Johnny then started on the JV team and consistently scored between 9 to 17 points per game. On average he scores three, three point shots per game. With five games left in the season, he is now sitting for the varsity games!!
