More About Coach David
I have worked with younger kids from ages 5-8, but I have advised many athletes that are my age which is 22 years old. I don’t have certification, but I have transitioned into pitching was a division one hitter previously. I am currently a mid 90s arm in the Southland Conference. I know biomechanics and how to sequence the chain along with training methods to be explosive
I am currently competing at the division one level. As a hitter in juco I was 1st Team all conference in Region 14 at Blinn Junior College. I have recently transitioned into pitching and have been up to 98.
I will begin by assessing the athlete mobility wise and strength because these are both extremely important for a ball player to reach an elite level. For younger kids I will teach the fundamentals. Drill work can be beneficial but I would rather work on the mechanics of the swing and throw.
