More About Coach David

I have help run a Somerville youth hockey's learn to skate/learn to play hockey program for 3 years. This will be the 5 year coaching a Somerville youth hockey team. I have also assassinate coached Somerville High JV hockey team for 2 years. I have work with all age groups but most 12 and under. I am a register as a member of USA Hockey and I have a level 1 Coaching Certifications from USA hockey and will be getting my level 2 Coaching Certifications this year. I also have Safe Sport Season

I played hockey in high school and help start up the club team at the University of Hartford. I was know for my sportsmanship and never got into a fight even when punch. I have been told I have a very high hockey I.Q. I played forward and defense, most defense. As a coach I have never had one kid quit and my kids have always ended the season better then they started. I also have always taken the time to get to know my kids and parents. This makes for a better understanding of how to push/coach the kid

Skating/ shooting / stick handling

I focuses on power skating technique, ice hockey skills. Above all, I'm focused on the individual needs of our clients. No matter how old or young the player is, my private lessons can be tailored to any level. I'm all about evolving with innovative training styles, repetition and getting players out of their comfort zone.
