My golf experience started as a Professional Tour Caddy. I then worked as an assisstant professional at The Grand Traverse Resort. I was the Head Professional in Grand Rapids, Michigan for nine years before becoming a Teaching Professional at Thousand Oaks Golf Club for five years. I am in my fourth season here at The Grand Traverse Resort. I have worked with young juniors to senior golfers of both genders. I have worked with Michigan amatuer champions and several students who have gone on to college scholarships. PGA member.

I played basketball in high school and was All conference and all West Michigan in Grand Rapids at East Grand Rapids High School. I passed my PGA playing ability test by qualifying for and making the cut in the Michigan Open. Became a PGA Professional over twenty years ago. Started The ALS Caddy-Am to raise money for ALS in memory of friend Bruce Edwards who passed away from the disease.

Using V-1 Video technology and The GC2 launch monitor by Foresight Golf, I video and analyze the students weaknesses. While comparing their swing to top professionals they can see the differences. With numerous teaching aids I try to get the student to feel the changes we need to make. The facility is fabulous with indoor or outdoor abilities to hit golf balls in any weather year round. I believe in feel golf, not over powering. Short game work is just as important. I also believe in working with students on course. We have 54 holes of championship golf to access.
