My son, Darien came to Coach Daryl at the beginning of his 7th grade year.  His ball handling needed work and his ability to shoot a wide variety of shots was low.  Coach Daryl taught Darien fundamental ball handling form and re-enforced good shooting form every session.  Only a couple months later and Dariens form is fundamentally solid.  Daryl also provided training to improve Darrien’s reaction to what a defender gives and make an explosive move off the dribble to get open and take the shot. Daryl also ran Darien through many very good defensive drills and rebounding drills.  Going to the basketball training sessions has given Darien all the fundamentals he needs as he prepares for the 8th grade tryouts. Daryl has been a Godsend! He’s been working with my son since 2017/4th grade. Daryl has taken him from needing to master all the fundamentals of the game to now changing his game to compete at the high school level. He’s always gone above and beyond to help him achieve his goals. He worked with him one on one all summer to make sure he as ready for middle school tryouts and shared the excitement when he made the team. He has continued helping him stay ready for the next level, always pushing him to get better and pays attention to the details. He builds relationships with the kids that instill respect and trust. His passion for the game and the kids he trains is clear and we are blessed to have him on this journey.
