More About Coach Danny
My coaching experience started as a student in college working for Step Up Basketball Academy in Dublin, OH, training all age groups (K-12). After graduating, I accepted a full-time position with IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL to help run Basketball Operations. Upon leaving IMG, I returned home to take an assistant coaching position with a brand new prep program in Willoughby, OH. With the International Sports Academy, I serve as the Associate Head Coach for the Post Graduate team. As a coach, I work with athletes in a team setting, small groups, and individual workouts.
I want to tailor workouts to what an athlete wants to improve on. Outside of whatever the desired focal point may be, I like to spend the first part of the workout on ball-handling. I want to see every athlete make a number of different combination moves and move with the ball with confidence. Transitioning out of that, I like to work with athletes on form shooting and running a few shooting drills out of that.
