I have been giving private basketball lessons for the past 5 years with the current organization I coach for in Deerfield,IL I coach the basics and principles of the game of basketball. I teach the kids what i was taught when I was younger, and found the most beneficial.

I love working with kids and have the most experience working with kids in 3rd-6th grade. I am a big believer in the kids learning how to play defense, proper footwork, boxing out, and dribbling. I like to work on a bunch of different drills that help the kids with those areas. I also like to teach them how to stay positive during games, no matter what the score is.

To start off my sessions, I usually warm them up and stretch. then i move right into ball handling where I like to have them dribble with one ball in each hand. Then i go right into some defensive drills, as well as offense, post moves, spacing, and shooting drills. I love doing it because it l love watching the kids learn and grow not only as a player but as a person.
