More About Coach Dan
I have experience coaching 7th grade girls all the way up to high school boys. I have helped coach a high school boys varsity program. I coached at a camp for 3 years. I am able to tailor a training or coaching session to every individuals needs. Most of my experience has been in MA but I have coached a girls basketball team for the DCA. Its not much of a coaching resume, but I can give you the time and the specific program to help you get better.
I was fortunate enough to play basketball in college. I played for a small college in Boston called Wentworth Institute of Technology. I started as the team manager and worked my way onto the squad. I know the value of hard work and the pride in proving people wrong.
Each session plan would be based on the individual or group. I would first start off with a number of drill to asses the skill level and go form there. I have a lot of knowledge of drills and tactics that will be able to help every player grow. I am also open to suggestions as to what the player would like to focus on. I am also able to give a set of drills to work on when I am not with the player or players. A simple start to my offensive workouts would include the Miken drill. Then I would have the player move slowly away from the basket shooting from the block. From there they would move out further running through full speed drills along with some form shooting.
