More About Coach Daniel

I am a brand new coach and athletic trainer. I have worked with clients such as friends and family members both at the recreational and competitive levels. I am a recent SJSU graduate in Kinesiology: Rehab Science and I am also a certified personal trainer.

I have been playing soccer competitively for 10+ years. I played club soccer for Legacy Soccer Club B99 from about 2011-2014 and then I played with Madrid Premiere Soccer Club B99 from about 2013-2018. Also, I played soccer at Coast Union High School, where I was MVP both my Junior and Senior years, and most recently I was playing for the SJSU Men's Club Soccer Team.

My training begins with a warm-up workout that includes breath work, myofascial release therapy, and injury prevention exercises. Afterwards we will begin the on-the-ball-training which will consist of drills, that will be done game-speed to replicate the demands of a real match, and that will help improve fundamental aspects of the game such as first touch, passing, vision, dribbling, and shooting. We will also focus a lot on training barefoot because many of the best players in the world grew up playing without shoes, which will drastically help improve your fee for the ball.
