More About Coach Dan
I run DB Soccer, providing private and small-group training to players U8–U16 across the Raleigh–Durham area. I’ve coached summer camps, weekly small-group sessions, and 1-on-1 development blocks, working with everyone from first-year rec players to kids preparing for club tryouts.
My focus is technical development — the individual skill work team practice never has enough time for. I coach in both English and Russian.
Played HS Varsity and winning 2nd place at State Championship in Massachusetts.
Several years at college club soccer level at the FC International Futbol Club playing against D3 and D2 universities.
Played College Soccer in Rome, Italy for the American University of Rome.
Every player starts with a short evaluation so we can identify two or three specific things to work on.
Sessions run one hour: technical warm-up, focused skill work on the priority area — first touch, ball mastery, 1v1, finishing, or receiving under pressure — then applied game scenarios so the skill transfers to match day.
Training is built around the player’s age, position, and goals, and I check in with parents on progress so you know exactly what we’re working toward.
