More About Coach Dalton
I have coached at the middle school, high school, and college level. Currently the defensive coordinator at McDaniel college and assistant coach for the Zingos 2017 club team based in Howard county. Previously coached at the Gerstell academy (MIAA-B) and Howard community college.
Played at St Mary's college of Maryland, winning the Capitol Athletic Conference and playing in the NCAA tournament my senior year. 2 time 1st team all Carroll County defenseman at south Carroll high school.
Regardless of age, fundamentals are always key. Focus on proper stickwork, shooting, footwork, and positioning is always stressed in order to prepare a player for the next level. Depending on experience, we will expand on position specific drills to hone an individual's talent. Additionally, I can improve a players speed and agility with tools such as speed ladders, weight sled, and parachute (which I provide). We will likely train on the turf at McDaniel but I can travel as well.
