More About Coach Dalton
Been around levels from high school all the way to Olympic. Have worked with clients who have just touched a rugby ball for the first time to some high level college athletes who need sessions before they head back to school. I have also ran camps up at Penn State. I have a level 2 rugby coaching certification and have worked with all age groups.
Started rugby in 7th grade. Played division 1 at Penn State. Went on to play for USA falcons 7s. From there went to play for Nola Gold in New Orleans. Have multiple accomplishments for 7s with dream team at rugbytown, player of the year for club 7s, dream teams 3 years in a row for college in 15s/7s, Scholz award nominee, and multiple 7s championships.
Clients can expect me to tailor their trainings to the goals they set. Then I will run through a session which will consist of a warmup, into some hand eye coordination to get the brain firing up. From there I look to build/challenge their skills around situation based drills which they will actually be faced with on the field. I always like to end with a game for a little competition!! At the end I like to debrief the session and explain what next session will look like for them.
