More About Coach Cydney

Once my professional contract was up I decided to get into the coaching field. I started as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Women's Soccer team at Auburn University. I helped with a majority of the recruiting operations as well as the defense.

I was offered a full-time position as an Assistant Coach for the Women's Soccer team at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). While at UNLV I was involved in recruiting, scheduling of games, heart rate monitoring, defensive side of the game, etc.

While at UNLV I decided I wanted to get back into the Power 5 and back into school. I was brought onto the Women's Soccer Staff at the University of Florida by Becky Burleigh. While at Florida I was a Graduate Assistant where my main focus was heart rate data/monitoring, strength and conditioning, planning training session, etc.

I have been doing personal training for the past 5 years. Over the past 5 years I have trained over 80 young men and women. I have worked with all age groups, as young as 5 years old to as old as 20 years old.

I have coached at the highest collegiate level and also have worked with the youngest and cutest athletes as well!

I currently play professionally here in Orlando!!

I played DI soccer at Temple University on a full scholarship where I graduated with my Bachelors in Kinesiology. From there I went on to play professionally in Puerto Rico for two years.

During my college career I was awarded a full scholarship
-Named SSC Defensive Player of the Year
-All-SSC First Team
-D2CAA First Team All South Region
-NSCAA NCAA First Team All-South Region
-All American
-Started and played every game
-AAC defensive player of the week
-AAC honorable mention

During my professional career:
-named best defender in the Caribbean
-won league play
-went undefeated throughout the season
-scored 3 goals
-started and played every match

My sessions are very well planned out. To start off the session we will always do a little bit of juggling. From there we start the session with a technical drill to get touches on the ball.
Each session has a main focus and we work up to that main focus through smaller sided drills until getting to the bigger picture!

Soccer is extremely important and the skills that go with it but I am also very big on creating relationships. I have found throughout the past 5 years of doing training sessions that better relationships you create with your athletes the better time they have and the more you will get out of them. Soccer brings so much more than just good skills on the ball!

Client Reviews

Coach Cydney did a great job with my daughter on our first training session. She took her time to get to know her both as an athlete and individual. My daughter loved working with her and is looking forward to the next training session.

Our daughter loved everything about her first session with Cydney. Personal, encouraging while also being the right kind of demanding. It's easy to see the foundational aspects Cydney is going to build in our daughter. Working with Cydney is an easy win.

My daughter has been working with Cydney for over 2 years as a technical trainer. I’ve never seen such a knowledgeable, dedicated and focused trainer. She has always worked to ensure that she was at her best and developed as a player. Without her we would not be at a top level club in Florida. I would highly recommend Cydney as a trainer for technical development and preparation for the game at at collegiate level.
Cydney is an awesome personal trainer. The workouts she provides my daughter: really push them to the next level. She helps build confidence and character.
My daughter has trained with Cydney for over 2 years. Cydney helped her improve her technical skill which was recognized and acknowledged by several of my daughter’s coaches. She also takes a personal interest in her games and asks regularly what else she feels needs to be worked on. My daughter respects Cydney and her experience. I appreciate Cydney for not only the training but also for the role model she is for my daughter.
