More About Coach Courtney
This past season I was the assistant coach at St. Johns River State College in Florida. I have given multiple lessons to all different skill levels and am willing to work with any age group. I have worked multiple Stetson University softball camps and a camp at Lake Sumter State College. I give lessons in pitching and outfield. I was the assistant coach at Jefferson Lafayette High School in 2017.
I was a four-year NCAA D1 starter for Stetson University, where I earned First Team All-South Region honors during my senior year as a Hatter. I am one of two players in school history and one of five in Atlantic Sun Conference history to record over 25 wins as a pitcher and hit over 25 home runs.
My 28 career home runs, including three grand slams, was the fifth-most in the school’s history. I also ranks sixth in school history with 114 career RBIs and 256 total bases, seventh in games started with 75, and ninth in pitching appearances with 83. I graduated in May 2015.

Before starting the lesson, I like my kids to run and stretch. Depending on what kind of lesson I am coaching will determine how we start. Pitchers will go through their routine warm up and we will begin from there. Outfielders will begin with throwing then start basic "football drills".
