More About Coach Corinthian
I have been basketball training for 3 years. I have my own personal basketball training business called Whodini Elite Training based out of Decatur Illinois. I have trained ages 6-25 sonage isn't a preference I am certified in coaching unified sports, heat illness prevention, sportsmanship, concussion in sports, strength and conditioning, fundamentals of coaching, and sports nutrition all by the NFHS
I played at the Junior college level in The NJCAA at Illinois Central College where I played point guard my sophomore year before that I played at Illinois Valley Community College
To parents/guardians who are wondering how Whodini Elite Training can help their child/children:
The most important thing to understand is that My training consist in the development of fundamental skills such as ball handling, shooting, rebounding defense etc. but what you should know is that in order for me to get your child to a level where they are controlling the ball and perfecting their shot is through strength training, agility work and focusing on their coordination. When it comes to youth and their age, their physical and mental maturity does not always coincide. Some youth are born with a certain ability some are not.
Whodini Elite Training is a structured, supervised, and age-appropriate training program that focuses on all aspects of the game and strength training is a key factor.
There is a difference between lifting weights and strength training. I can improve strength without weights. So if I tell you we are going to be doing squats or something you heard of in the weight room I'm not talking about having them get under a squat rack and go crazy! I'm simply talking about the functional movement. W.E.T. goal is to use appropriate training methods to produce a stronger, more coordinated, and more confident ball players.
This is a comprehensive program with intense and difficult strength workouts.
The strength training part of the program is not to harm a child's growth, but help strengthen their skeletal and muscular system as well as their connective tissue also help improve their coordination and body awareness.
Whodini Elite Training involves:
dynamic flexibility
movement preparation
footwork
strength training
and agility drills
Focusing on multi-joint movements like:
skipping
hopping
jumping
lunging
squatting
pushing
pulling
throwing
and twisting
My workouts are challenging, but fun.
So if you feel like W.E.T. Is an appropriate program for your child contact me
