I just completed my third year as head J.V. and associate varsity assistant coach for Gunnison High School in Gunnison Colorado. Previous to that I coached a select basketball team out of Austin (Westlake) in Texas for two years. In addition to coaching these teams I have been providing individual and group player development sessions since graduating college working with 7 year old's up to college age players and even adult rec players.

I graduated high school in 2003 and received an athletic scholarship to Arizona State University. In high school I was nominated to the McDonald's High School All American Team, played two years in Nike's Elite Youth Basketball League for Team Texas and one year for Adidas's Texas BlueChips. I was a top 100 player in the class of '03, a very talented class that included such players as Chris Paul, Lebron James, and Luol Dang. I had some amazing teammates in high school and college including Chris Bosh (Georgia Tech/ Toronto Raptors/ Miami Heat), Danial Horton (Michigan), Jason Horton (Missouri), and Armein Kirkland (Cincinnati). In college I reunited with a fellow Texan, former teammate of mine from the Texas BlueChip days, and friend Ike Diogu who while we were at ASU won Pac-10 newcomer of the year and Pac-10 player of the year before being selected 12 overall in the NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. I played in several pro-am leagues before becoming a coach full time in 2012.

Former collegiate player who loves private lessons with kids that are passionate about the sport and have a desire to be better.

My background: I am a 6'8 Point-Forward and play all positions on the floor. Played and started all four years of HS B-Ball right here in Texas and know what it takes to not only make it to the next level but to achieve success on that level. From post players being able to step outside to point guards being able to go in the post, I emphasize versatility.
