More About Coach Christian
I’ve been training athletes, fighters and individuals who just want to learn self defense or just want to box. I’ve have over 20 years of boxing. I specialize in boxing and fitness. I specialize in improving cardiovascular health, strength, agility, coordination, and overall physical conditioning. My Boxing focuses on techniques such as punching, footwork, and defensive maneuvers, while fitness encompasses a broader range of exercises tailored to enhance muscle tone, endurance, and flexibility. Both offer effective ways to achieve personal fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Boxing goes beyond physical conditioning; it cultivates mental strength, resilience, and self-confidence. The rigorous training regimen not only strengthens muscles but also instills discipline and perseverance, qualities that extend beyond the boxing ring into everyday life. Moreover, boxing fosters camaraderie and a sense of community among practitioners, creating a supportive environment for personal growth and development.
Similarly, fitness training offers a holistic approach to health, addressing not only physical fitness but also mental and emotional well-being. Engaging in regular exercise releases endorphins, reducing stress and improving mood. Additionally, fitness activities promote better sleep, increased energy levels, and enhanced cognitive function, contributing to overall vitality and quality of life.
Both boxing and fitness serve as powerful tools for self-improvement and empowerment, empowering individuals to push past their limits, overcome obstacles, and achieve their full potential, both inside and outside the gym. Whether you're stepping into the ring or hitting the gym floor, the journey towards better health and fitness is one of continuous growth, learning, and self-discovery.
From the age of 10 to 17, I participated in and won numerous tournaments, establishing myself as a formidable competitor. Among these achievements, I claimed victory in the NY Jr Olympics and dominated the Jr Metros for six consecutive years. Additionally, I triumphed in the NY Jr Golden Gloves and the NY Empire State Games, further solidifying my reputation. My successes didn't stop there; I became a three-time NY Silver Gloves champion and won the Regionals.
My consistent performance and dedication earned me international recognition, and at one point, I was ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the world as an amateur boxer. In 2005, I achieved a significant milestone by winning the prestigious New York Golden Gloves.
In 2008, I transitioned to professional boxing, quickly building a record with seven professional fights. One of the highlights of my professional career was fighting at Yankee Stadium in 2010. This event was part of the high-profile boxing card headlined by Miguel Cotto vs. Yuri Foreman, marking a memorable moment in my career.
