More About Coach Chris
Coach Chris was Freshman Head Coach and Varsity Skills Development Trainer at Cathedral High School. Over the summers Coach Chris assisted coaching 13u, 15u, and 18u for his Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL). Chris has been a personal trainer for the past 3 years and helps train athletes at all different ages and skill levels.
Coach Chris played freshman basketball at Catholic Memorial, and lead his team to a 18-0 winning record. At the end of the season he was moved up to varsity. Chris’ second and third year on varsity he was the leading player in steals and assists. Coach Chris tore his ACL his senior year in high school, but didn’t get discouraged and made the D1 basketball practice team at the University of Hartford his sophomore year.
Coach Chris’ session plans differ for each athlete depending on their age, skill level, and goals. However, all sessions will start with stretching and basic fundamentals. Over the courses of sessions Coach will work on shooting, how to use a screen, how to create separation, how to finish around the basket, defense and more. During the sessions Coach strives on building confidence and good relationships with the athletes/families. Then at the end of every session he will give feedback and possibly some homework to help the athletes develop physically and mentally.
