More About Coach Chris
I have been a coach in southwest Austin for eight years. I specialize in kids 10 and under for tennis. I have worked with some top juniors over the years and also total beginners. I am very patient and i know what works to get the most out of kids and they seem to respond well. I am a 4.5+ level player for the past 25 years and also work with kids on their fitness and speed footwork around the court
I have won numerous singles and doubles tournaments in 4.5 level and competed against some of the best players out there. Also I was the #1 tennis player at Texas state tennis club, #1 on several local competitive ladders, etc. I have been a 4.5 level player for over twenty years and still remain 4.5 level player
I try to simplify a sometimes complex game down to A) the swing and b) movement, the combining of those two is where it gets trickier but if they can do those two things then we can get good results. we will typically work on groundstrokes, movement and then serves and volleys later
