More About Coach Chris
I have more than a decade of coaching expertise, focused on young basketball enthusiasts ranging from ages 5 to 15. I have coached at Long Beach State's basketball camps, the Lakewood YMCA, and the City of Cerritos Youth Sports Program. I have a full time career so do not get to coach as much as I would like but coaching is my passion.
I grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico where I played 4 years of Varsity Basketball. After receiving player of the year honors my senior year I received a full scholarship to play at Long Beach State. I played 4 years at Long Beach State being a member of the ALL Freshmen Team for the Big West.
Each session is different, depending on the players skill set. I like to work on body control, footwork, and basketball fundamentals.
Shooting was my biggest attribute growing up and I am passionate about teaching proper technique.
