More About Coach Chloe

I have experience coaching youth track and field athletes at the middle and high school levels, including coaching at Holy Names Academy and Roach Gymnastics in Seattle. I also bring years of firsthand experience as a professional pole vaulter, having competed at national and international levels and held indoor and outdoor national high school pole vault records. My coaching experience includes helping athletes improve their technique, speed, coordination, and overall athletic performance, as well as providing individualized feedback and mentorship. I have experience working with children and teenagers and am interested in continuing to develop athletes through speed, strength, and performance training. I worked as a personal trainer at Equinox in New York City, where I designed individualized fitness programs, conducted movement assessments, and coached clients in strength training and mobility. I hold First Aid and CPR training and am happy to provide further details about my certifications as needed.

I competed at the professional level in pole vaulting from 2019 to 2024. I signed a four-year professional contract with Puma at age 19 and became the first athlete to turn professional in pole vault directly out of high school. I competed at national and international levels and held both the indoor and outdoor national high school pole vault records. My accomplishments include being a two-time state champion in track and field and earning All-American honors in pole vault. I also trained toward competing at the Olympic level, with the goal of representing Italy in the 2024 Olympic cycle. Although injuries ultimately led me to step away from competition, my experience as an elite athlete gave me a strong foundation in technique, speed, strength development, discipline, and performance training.

My sessions are tailored to each athlete’s age, experience, goals, and current ability. I take a performance-focused approach, emphasizing proper technique, speed, coordination, explosiveness, strength, and mobility. A typical session begins with a dynamic warm-up and movement preparation, followed by drills focused on mechanics, acceleration, sprint technique, and coordination. Depending on the athlete’s goals, we may incorporate short sprints, hill sprints, plyometrics, jumping drills, and strength exercises to develop power and improve overall athletic performance. I pay close attention to movement quality and technique, making adjustments and providing individualized feedback throughout the session. I finish by allowing time for a cooldown and recovery, while discussing progress and areas to improve. Having competed as a professional pole vaulter and coached youth track and field, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation before progressing to more advanced training. My goal is to help athletes become faster, stronger, more explosive, and more confident while developing sound movement mechanics and sustainable training habits.
