Ages 8-18. Freshman Baseball Coach at Orange Lutheran-2004. Little League ages 8-10 2000-2002, 2009-2014. Private hitting instructor 2009-present. Private hitting coach Fontanettis athletic batting cages San Jose 2014. Freshman Baseball Coach at Bellarmine College Preparatory 2015-Present. LAMV College Park Palomino Baseball summer league head coach.
Member of Northern California team in 1993 and All-State 2nd team. 3 years all league at Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco. Attended USF on a baseball scholarship and 7 years professional baseball in Mexican Municipal League and GBL 2005 for Japan/Long Beach Armada.
First lessons would have an introduction. A session would be based on the goals of the client. Identifying what needs to be worked on followed by drills to enhance the corrections. Positive reinforcement is important. Trying to work on things the player isn't strong at.

On top of his credential of being the the freshman head coach of Bellarmine College Prep HS, he has the ability to articulate his knowledge and experience as a professional baseball player. His drills were helpful and we especially liked his inspirational talk about how one's mental attitude can improve one's game. We recommend him for anyone needing to move to the next level and anyone needing guidance to playing High School, College, and beyond!

I am a ball player in a men's senior baseball league. I have wanted to work with a coach that could quickly identify some of my fielding and batting mechanics that need work and then offer some suggestions for improvement. I mentioned this to Coach Charles at our first session. He had me go through various drills, assessed my abilities, made suggestions for improvement, and then we worked on the needed adjustments. Coach Charles listened carefully to what I hoped to achieve through the lesson and quickly and very competently helped me improve. Coach Charles is very knowledgeable, respectful, and efficient. When I arrived for the workout, he had the equipment set up and the field ready to go.
