More About Coach Chantel

I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology. I am the head coach for the girls varsity lacrosse team at Saint Mary's Academy high school. I also coach the competitive club team, True Lacrosse here in Denver. I've had experience coaching kids and adolescents at all level of play and hold a sports performance training certification.

I have extensive lacrosse playing and all around athlete experience. In high school I played varsity lacrosse all four years. During the off season I played competitive club lacrosse for Denver Summit, where I traveled all around the nation for tournaments. I also was a varsity cross country runner where I won two blue ribbon races during my time. I went on to play collegiate women's lacrosse at Colorado State University, where my team made it to Nationals twice. I still play in Adult League lacrosse as well as maintaining an active lifestyle as a coach and sports performance enhancement trainer.

My coaching goal is to train an athlete to achieve their highest potential and play to the next level. An athlete would ideally have 2-3 sessions with me per week. Two sessions would consist of dynamic stretching, stick skills, shooting, offensive, and defensive drills.
One of the sessions would focus on increasing speed and agility training via footwork, various agility drills, and speed/strength conditioning.
