More About Coach Chanda
I was born and raised in Lex Pk, MD. I was one of the FIRST female basketball players at age 7 in the Rec/Park program. Giving back, I helped grow the Biddy Basketball program as an instructor for 1st and 2nd graders, in the county. Before officiating, I coached JV girls basketball at Great Mills High School. I am a retired NCAA Div II basketball official, having completed 17 years. Currently, I am a trainer with the largest group of certified trainers and coaches in the world. I'm Possible Training. I have badges in Skill Enhancement, Ball Handling and being an Playmaker. I have the National Youth Sports Association Coaching certification. While I have the most coaching experience with 2nd grade through 8th graders, I also have skill training experience working with 1st graders to semi professional athletes.
Varsity basketball player all 4 years at Great Mills High School, voted to SMAC team, last three years of high school. I led my junior and senior year teams to SMAC championship titles, and MD Regional championship my senior year. Held the 2nd highest assist total for a single season.
Awarded full scholarship to Bowie State University. Graduated with walk on tryout for Washington Mystics.
As an I’m Possible trainer I believe training a player once or twice per month, or once a week, will give them the opportunity, between their workouts, to master the skills they have learned during each of our training sessions. In today’s game, there are countless skill training methods and many disagreements throughout the basketball community regarding which ones are effective and which ones are not. So I will train a player with Purpose, Accountability and Imagination, not conforming to industry opinion. I will assess each player with specific methods to determine the players skill level. I will then train the player based on her/his needs, isolating these skills to create a dynamic and progressive program with innovative and dynamic drills and methods. My athletes will experience the same training methods I’m Possible Training has used with NBA All-Stars and College All-Americans. Each athlete will have close mentorships with me so we can keep them progressing between workouts.

Where do I begin? Hmmm, oh yeah. I downloaded the app "CoachUp" for over a month and kept on opening it up every week. Then I read all the coaches bio and finally decided to choose who would be best for my son Sean-Patrick. However, the next day I went and contacted Chanda and asked her, "do you coach boys?" Her reply was, "yes." I immediately booked her the following day, then I told my son he has training with a female coach.
I thought my son was going to be upset, instead he said "that's cool."
Training day was on March 27th, 2017 @5:30pm. After giving coach Chanda and Sean about 20 minutes alone together, I walked in the gym. Coach was teaching my son, techniques that could enhance his performance in which it can be executed at the right time in any given competition. Coach Chanda even pulled out a list, yes a list of things she had planned to have Sean work on during their session. She seem to plan meticulously and pays great attention to details, I love that.
When you find a coach that understands how important training is, where it demands more challenge physically, emotionally, mentally, and the list goes on, it really does prepare you.
The way in which coach Chanda engaged with Sean and inspired him on his first day, we're definitely looking forward to working with her again.
The great philosopher Aristotle once said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.”

Chanda is so passionate in training, she loves the game and is so on top of making sure whoever she's teaching knows the in's and outs she cares and that's the most important thing a lot of ppl do their jobs and go home not caring what so ever what ppl took away from the training or lesson Chanda cares and expresses that through her teachings Karen M. on August 8, 2016
