More About Coach Cesar

I have coached little league, high school and this year was an eye opener when I helped out some fellow teammates. I have been playing baseball for 16 years and I had learned a lot with that and the time I have at the professional level.

I will work with all ages. Most important for me is conditioning it has to be done consistently. Long distance and short distance running is included. An arm care program I will guide you through along with good eating habits. The body is your tool and should be taken care of very well. Aside from that, with so many arm injuries in players i focus on mechanical issues they may have to prevent injuries (using the whole body) I will show videos and video tape the players so they have a visual and can understand the problem.

I know quite a few people with high schools, college, and pro scouts for any level of player. I also know travel ball coaches so the player gets playing time and i monitor them through gameplay. I will also record them to compare from practice to game.

I will start off a session with stretching/running, warming up, then have them throw or pitch the way they do it on their own (either on mound or off mound). I will gather information on what their flaws are and record their wind up and pitching off the stretch. After a series of pitches I will step in and go through what they need help on. Then they will pitch a little bit more but apply what they need done and after do either drills to help or do dry work (without throwing a ball), they will finish it off by conditioning then a short meeting for anything else they need to know so they will be well prepared to play in a game.

The time I have known him I noticed he knows the game of baseball period. He was a terrific player and now a great coach. He enjoys being around the game and spreading his knowledge to develop players. He has helped improve the pitchers on my dad's little league team and has even helped out my youngest brother in his all around game. I definitely recommend him for any baseball needs.
