For lacrosse specific training we generally focus on foot speed/quickness, explosive strength & power, core strength and flexibility/mobility. Clients can expect to warm up with speed ladder/agility drills before moving into position specific skills (shooting/dodging/positioning footwork/stick skills). Lastly, high school/college athletes end with strength training/weight lifting, for younger athletes bodyweight strength exercises conclude. To finish up stretching and mobility work to maximize recovery and gains/results.

Client Reviews

We love coach Casey! He’s great with my daughter...he makes her feel confident and then gives her specific lessons based on goals.

Casey Kirch is one of the most unique lacrosse players to ever come out of Newtown, Connecticut. As an attackman, he held the scoring record at Newtown High for 17 years, only recently broken last year. As a Division 1 player at Sacred Heart, Casey transitioned to Short Stick Defensive Midfielder and was routinely given the assignment to guard the opponents best player. His knowledge of the game, at both ends of the field, surpasses any player to have come through Newtown Lacrosse. That knowledge, and his passion for lacrosse, are what make Casey Kirch a great teacher of the game.
