I was not able to make it to my son's first lesson with Coach Carl, but both my son and wife had nothing but good things to say. Coach Wilson worked with 6 of our 11u boys this evening. He has a great way of relating to the boys and helping them understand the proper mechanics. He was very patient and encouraging as they worked to make adjustments. The boys' experience ranged from 3 weeks to several seasons and each gained speed and control.

The session was also very helpful to me as a coach as Coach Wilson explained how to help the boys during regular practices and how to adjust during games.

Coach Wilson was easy to schedule and was very accommodating as the original plan was changed due to rain.

We will definitely work with Coach Wilson again.

Coach Carl took them time to get to know my son and me as a parent. This was important to me because in order to be a great coach vs just a coach, is for the coach to know the parent (at least when the kid is 9). He did well with my son and didn't make my son feel as if was disappointing Coach Carl. By doing that alone, my 9 yr old had focus, learned and picked up on his mistakes and corrected them, and had a great time. When ur kid looks at you after a 1 on 1 practice and says, "Mom, Coach Carl makes my other coaches seem like they don't know a lot." That's a HUGE compliment. Other team coaches should strive to remeber the game and allow the kids to play it!

We have been with Coach Carl now for going on 5 sessions and he has made a huge difference in my 9yr old son's pitching.
