Carlos Ray Galvez

I've coached for over 25 years. I grew up playing and coaching at my local Rec center (Victory and Vineland in North Hollywood). Growing up I was mentored by many professionals such as trainer Tim Grover, Brian Cook, Derek Fisher, Gilbert Arenas and other qualified athletes. I’ve coached multiple players that went on to play professionally. While coaching from 2003-2012 I obtained multiple titles/banners at my city rec center for winning Jr NBA/WNBA city championships. Throughout the years I coached with many NBA camps,Traveling Teams, AAU teams, and High School/College teams.

I’ve been awarded multiple MVP trophies at rec centers I grew up playing in (Victory Vineland, North Weddington, shepherd of the hills league). I also earned scorer titles playing against ex NBA players and over-seas players at age of 17. I played at North Hollywood High School 2003-2006. Played at LA Valley College from 2009-2011. Ive been a special guest at celebrity games with Chris Brown, The Game, Ray J, etc. Ive also experienced playing along side AND1 legends such as Hot Sauce and Bone Collector.

My sessions will consist of drills that introduce an In depth understanding of fundamentals and the advanced mechanics of the game as well as health and fitness knowledge. I tailor My practices to every player's specific needs and skills. Whether it’s teaching proper efficient shooting or how to control the defense to open up attack angles, my sessions will lead you down the quickest path to become a complete basketball player and achieve success.
