More About Coach Carlin

Physical education teacher with experience coaching volleyball, basketball, softball, and soccer. Extensive safety training from a variety of certification granting organizations including Red Cross, CDC, and many others. I hold certifications granted to coach these sports through the New York State Education Department. I have received extensive training through the National Federation of High Schools.

I currently play volleyball both indoors and on the beach. I aim to play as much as possible and love the sport as a pastime. Aside from volleyball, I also play softball and football regularly.

Each session will be different depending upon the needs of the athlete. If the person holds a specific position and feels as though they need help with that position we can complete drills specific for that position. On the contrary there are drills that are all encompassing or can help the athlete try out a new position.

Coach Carlin must have been a magician in a former life. She picked up on three major flaws in my delivery. Patiently, she worked with me, and after about 8 lessons, the flaws were entirely corrected. I went from being a decent pitcher to a dominating one within a few months. The people in my league want to know what the hell happened. I tell them I watched Youtube videos ;)
